Theatreworks is an opportunity to work collaboratively, improvise, device, write and act. Join this dynamic group and learn how to build characters, confidence and creativity alongside theatre skills. Have fun ‘playing’ in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

In this jam packed, interactive workshop, learn everything the director has to do to put on a panto or play.
From the planning stages: scripts, auditions, number of rehearsals needed, to working with the team: stage manager, backstage crew, musicians and wardrobe.
Learn how to dissect a script, develop back stories and get the most out of your actors. With simple blocking techniques learn how to choreograph the action on stage.
FINDING YOUR VOICE
Do you struggle with public speaking? These workshops we will provide a safe and supportive space to let go of inhibitions and free up your voice. Jacqueline Goddard will share tips and techniques from the world of professional acting to help you uncover any vocal blocks so you can communicate with full power, allowing yourself to be seen and your voice to be heard.

Atticus Arts youth theatre is a company of young people aiming to create exhilarating theatrical experiences. Exciting and inspiring, you’ll work with professional staff exploring all aspects of drama. The weekly sessions will challenge you as a performer. They feature practical workshops and activities to help you devise new work or create your own performances based on scripted plays.

By working with well known and favourite poems and books, LAMDA sessions are an opportunity to develop communication skills and confidence. Breathing and vocal techniques will enable clear and audible speech.

PLAYS AND PLAYWRIGHTS
Ideal for groups such as WI,
Am Dram club nights, U3A etc.
These talks are an opportunity to explore and give your opinion on plays and playwrights with a like-minded group. Consider how scripts have been adapted, reinterpreted and brought to life on the stage. Explore a variety of different playwrights. Discuss your thoughts and feelings about the play, its writer, set and costume design.
